Frequenz: Normal or Langsam
Rhythmus: Unregelmäßig, wenn SA-Block auftritt
P-Welle: Normal
PR-Intervall: Normal (0,12-0,20 Sek)
QRS-Intervall: Normal (0,06-0,10 Sek)

Beim sinuatrialen Block ist der Impuls auf dem Weg zu den Vorhöfen verzögert oder blockiert. Dies führt zu einem Systolenausfall, der ein Vielfaches des P-P-Intervalls ist. Nach dem Systolenausfall geht der Rhythmus regelmäßig weiter. Es gibt drei Arten von SA-Blocks, je nach Länge der Verzögerung.
