Welcome to EKG.Academy

19 May 2017

Welcome to the EKG.Academy blog. Over the past year we have completed our roll-out of free EKG lessons, drills and quizzes. Over the coming months, blog will introduce some of these exciting learning resources.

Our overall goal is to provide interactive lessons, drills and quizzes that complement clinical experience or classroom instruction. All of our courses feature interactive lessons. Moreover, we have collected and analyzed hundreds of EKG tracings and incorporated these into a variety of drills, coaching sessions and quizzes.

And finally, we intend to make our materials available in several languages. As of now, we have translated our most popular content into French, German and Spanish. This materials can be accessed via the navigate bar at the top of each web page.

So again, welcome to our website!

EKG Graded Quiz

20 May 2017

We have recently released our EKG Graded Quiz. The quiz presents 25 tracings for interpretation. After each tracing, correct/incorrect feedback is provided. After the quiz has been completed, more detailed feedback for each tracing is available for review.

We are also introducing a new feature, which is the ability to print a certificate of achievement for the quiz, which includes the student’s name, date of the quiz and score.

If this quiz proves popular, we intend to introduce additional quizzes (easier, harder, for emergency care, etc.). Thanks in advance for trying it.

This includes measuring heart rate, describing heart rhythm and P-Waves as well as measuring PR interval and QRS measurements. Feedback is provided. Then the user is asked to classify the tracing.

After the analysis feedback, the user will classify the tracing with immediate feedback. Running scores are provided for analysis and classification.
