El ritmo idioventricular acelerado (RIVA) es un ritmo ventricular con tres o más latidos monomorfas consecutivos con inicio gradual. RIVA se produce cuando la tasa de marcapasos ventricular ectópico es mayor que la velocidad del nodo sinusal. Por lo general es benigno.
